CNA Training Programs Available in Ohio

 

  • Health Care Management Group- Located in Cincinnati, this facility provides CNA training to students who wish to join the medical field. Here you will obtain hands on experience by working closely with patients and giving them the care they need as you learn. By the end of the course, you will be fully prepared to take the Ohio CNA training test so you can earn your certification.

 

  • Cleveland Job Corps- If you are between the ages of 16 and 24 and are from a low income family, you may be able to obtain CNA training through the Cleveland Job Corps. Those who qualify must be willing to stay at the Job Corps facility, where they will be provided with room and board while their training takes place. Best of all, this CNA training can only help you learn the skills and gain the knowledge you need, but it is absolutely free.

 

  • American Red Cross- Located in Cleveland, the Cleveland Red cross has an extensive and comprehensive CNA training program that lasts for a total of 96 hours. 72 hours of this course are dedicated to classroom studies, with the rest dedicated to clinical.   • Polaris Career Center- If you live in or around Middleburg Heights and are interested in taking CNA training, you may want to consider Polaris Career Center. This facility offers 90 hours of CNA classes, which are held on Monday through Friday during the day or Tuesday and Thursday in the evening. The tuition, which is $995, includes CPR training, the fee for the state tests, training, and textbooks. While no discounts are offered, you may be able to pay for your CNA training via a payment plan instead of paying all of the tuition upfront. Like most programs, you will need to pass a background check, TB test, and show proof of all immunizations before you can gain entry to the course.
