The best thing to do is to call the school you wish to attend and talk to someone in admissions. They can inform you of what you need to qualify for their assistance programs. Every school is different, so it may be in your best interest to contact several different schools in your area and see what scholarships, financial aid, or even grants are available to you.
  • Reimbursement- You may be able to get financial assistance from your own employer. Many healthcare facilities offer incentives or even pay for you to receive your CNA training. Each company is different but most provide some sort of help. Talk to your current employer to find out what they offer.
  • Nursing Homes- Nursing homes and rehabilitation centers are always looking for nursing assistants who have completed CNA training. Most will even hire people who are interested in the field and assist them toward their certification by paying for their schooling.
