I have just moved to the petersburg, VA area and i have been in the medical field for 11 yrs. I was a cna for 8 to 9 yrs then my license expired in 2006 when i had my baby. I got my papers and sent them to Raleigh since i am originally from NC. My papers were mixed up and i didnt get my license on time i am now in va i want to know if i can take only the test and skills part and i need to know about the cna class at the nearest Red Cross in Petersburg,va or at any other facilities close in the area. I reside in El Cerrito-California.My CNA license is now expired..I can’t have it renew since its more then 2 years..I just let it pass and forgot to renew it for more then 10 years..Have been working but not in the hospital I found that I made more my working with private clients. Yes CNA was the best move I made. Can you please advise me on where is the closest Redcross that I can retake the class or maybe just the test..since I have been working all this years doing the work ..handson..please advise hope to hear from you soon..Many thanks.
